Silver Keg Feeders
Silver
Keg Feeders 4-H Club was started in 1935. Since then, it has been a prominent
club in Treynor showing many different entries at Westfair. The club works
together on many service projects teaching the members to be better leaders and
citizens. Silver Keg Feeders have participated in leaf raking, donations to the
Open Door Mission and Treynor Food Pantry, Treating the Troops, making benches
for the fair, book drive for Lydia House, and helping with the 4-Her’s for 4H
campaign. Being a part of 4H is not just about Westfair, but that is a huge
part. It is about preparing them to make the best better. Silver Keg Feeders
has grown and has many members take part at the fair. Many members take part in
the animal showing, apple pie baking, communications, and other exhibits. We
try to teach them to be proud of what they do and work on teaching others. 4-H
is not an activity that you have to do by yourself. We encourage the members to
work together to get the job done and have a great time doing it.
