The Treynor Fire Department is sponsoring water fight competitions for anyone age twelve and above in front of the Fire Station. There will be two age divisions for competing teams. The youth teams will have members from age 12 to 17. The adult teams are age 18 and up. There is no fee to participate but you must register to compete.

The Water Fights are all fun for the teams and spectators. But your team needs competition, so talk to your 'friends' and get them involved. Each team paring will get a three 3-minute trials to determine the best. Fire department members will supervise the activity and control the water pressure. The water fights begin at noon and will go until the best team is still standing or Fire Chief Russ Maguire calls and end. Remember, you need a three person team to hold the nozzle and maneuver the hose. Only the fire hose full of water will be provided for teams. Boots, hats, and slickers are optional.
