Vision Treynor Group
The Vision Treynor Group, founded in 2011, is a
non-profit organization that operates under the following mission: To
serve as a self-sustaining organization that facilitates the success of public
and private projects which benefit the economic and social climate of Treynor
and rural Pottawattamie County. In the 11-year history of the VTG, the
group has managed the construction and successful operation of Treynor FIT, the
local community fitness center that currently serves over 200 FIT members from
Treynor and surrounding communities. The VTG’s ongoing project is the development
of the Family Recreation Complex located on 54 acres of land North of Zion
Church. This property, referred to as “The T”, will be home to four little
league softball/baseball fields and two multi-purpose fields for soccer and
football. Along with developing little league fields at this family
recreation complex, the VTG is creating additional development opportunities
for other entities to build out additional assets such as the splash pad,
Tristan’s Trailhead, & Dexter’s Dreamland Playground along with earmarking
a portion of its land for residential development. Multiple people have
lent a hand in the development of this project to date and the VTG Board is
grateful for their donations of time, talent, and treasures . . . without them,
these projects would not be possible.
